Your use of this site, course materials and our services is conditioned upon your acceptance of our Terms and Conditions of Service. Our “Terms and Conditions of Service” contain a class action waiver of a right to a jury trial, and a mandatory and arbitration clause. If you decline agreement to the ParentTaught101.com site, “Terms and Conditions of Service;” do not use the ParentTaught101.com website or services.

ParentTaught101.com (Platform71, LLC) is providing you limited access to our State-approved Parent Taught Driver Education course, website and services, for a fee. The fee is stated at the time of purchase and does NOT include any additional and/or separate fees that the account holder or user may be required to pay in association with the “State’s” permitting and/or licensing process. Our course fee does NOT include separate services such as “Transferring to a Commercial School,” access to expired accounts, copies of “certificates of completion” for expired accounts, account extensions, or any charges which include, but are NOT limited to any internet service fees, device fees, mobile carrier fees and/or any other fees the account holder/user may accrue or be required to pay outside of the fee for access to the ParentTaught101.com website and course materials.
Account, website and course access expire one (1) year from the purchase “order date” of our course and service. All state-mandated course requirements (Classroom Modules 1-12 and the In-Car Instruction Hours), must be successfully completed, and the Certificates of Completion downloaded and saved (on your personal device), on or before your account expires.
I understand that ParentTaught101.com is NOT responsible for storing, saving and/or providing access to an account, student information, account information, certificates, forms, data, emails or any information associated with our service, course, platform or associated with the account holder/user at any point; during the use of our service or after the account expires, is closed, deactivated or if the account holder/user fails to successfully complete the course requirements or fails to meet any of the rules or guidelines specified by the State of Texas regarding a driver education course.
ParentTaught101.com and/or its affiliates are NOT responsible for any delays in or failure of performance, for damages or any loss or liability, caused by interruptions due to electronic or mechanical equipment failures, disruptions or failure in internet connection services, defects, site updates or occurrences beyond control. ParentTaught101.com and/or its affiliates have NO responsibility to provide the User/Student access to the course while interruption of the course, due to any such or similar cause shall continue.
ParentTaught101.com has the right to conduct necessary maintenance and updates to the site and course contenet, with no prior notice and is NOT responsible for providing the User, Student and Account Holder, access to the website, course or account during the maintenance, updates, services or interruption of the site, platform and course continues.
The User/Student agrees that ParentTaught101.com and/or its affiliates are NOT responsible or liable for storing and/or saving any mesaages, account data, information, emails, or any any messages, communications or any content from ParentTaught101.com and/or its affiliates regarding the site, access to the site, course materials or anything pertaining to the use or access of the course. The User/Student acknowledges that ParentTaught101.com and/or its affiliates reserve the right to log off accounts that are inactive for an extended period-of-time or that violate “Terms and Conditions.” The User/Student further acknowledges that ParentTaught101.com and/or its Affiliates reserve the right to change these general practices and limits at any time, in its sole discretion, with or without notice.
I understand that this is a Parent Taught Driver Education course and agree that as the Parent, Legal Guardian or Designated Instructor, I am responsible for monitoring my student’s progress and teaching this course in its entirety.
ParentTaught101.com and its affiliates are not responsible for the non-compliance, non-completion, failure or misuse of this course and its content by the user, student or designated parent-instructor.
Subject to and without limiting the Governing Law and Forum Selection section, USER/STUDENT expressly agrees that any claim or cause of action that arises from, relates to, or has connection with the ParentTaught101.com Services, Online Course or Website shall be adjudicated exclusively and finally by arbitration in Austin, Texas, administered by the American Arbitration Association. The arbitration award shall be final and binding, and judgment on the award rendered by the arbitrator(s) may be entered in any court having jurisdiction. Except as required by applicable law, USER/STUDENT knowingly, voluntarily, intelligently, and irrevocably waives any right to appeal from the arbitration award, including but not limited to any appeal from any judgment entered on the arbitration award or any order based thereupon. USER/STUDENT agrees that any claim or cause of action that is subjection to arbitration under the “Terms & Conditions” CONTRACT must be brought in his or her individual capacity and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class or representative proceeding. USER/STUDENT agrees that the arbitrator shall not consolidate more than one person’s claims and may not otherwise preside over any form of a representative or class proceeding. If a court decides this “Mandatory and Binding Arbitration” section is not enforceable or is invalid, then this section shall cease to have effect, however, the remaining portions of the “Terms & Conditions” CONTRACT will remain in full force and effect. ATTORNEY’S FEES. If Platform71, LLC, ParentTaught101.com and/or its Affiliates take action (by themselves or through its representatives) to enforce any of the provisions of this CONTRACT, including collection of any amounts due hereunder, in addition to all sums to which it is entitled or any other relief, at law or in equity, Platform71, LLC, ParentTaught101.com and/or its Affiliates shall be entitled to recover from USER/STUDENT and USER/STUDENT agrees to pay, reasonable and necessary attorney’s fees and all costs of any litigation or other dispute resolution proceeding.
ParentTaught101.com and/or its affiliates make NO guarantees of successful completion of this course.
I Understand that The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) and the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) charge separate registration, permitting and licensing fees, that are NOT included or associated with the ParentTaught101.com course fee.
I understand that I must complete the Parent-Taught Driver Education Instructor Designation Services Request directly from the Texas Department of Licensing & Regulation (TDLR) website and also purchase the Parent Taught Driver Education (PTDE) Course Guide from TDLR, before beginning a parent taught driving course.
ParentTaught101.com and/or its affiliates are NOT responsible for Non-Compliance or Failure to Register with Texas Departmnet of Licensing & REgulation (TDLR), prior to enrolling in our course.
ParentTaught101.com and/or its affiliates are NOT responsible for interruptions in your internet service; slow service or system failure of your devices, equipment or networks.
ParentTaught101.com and/or its affiliates are NOT responsible for Non-Compliance or Failure to meet Texas Department of Licensing & Regulation (TDLR) and/or Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS); student and/or Instructor requirements.
I understand that current State of Texas Driver Education Administrative Rules limit daily driver education instruction to a total of (6) hours per day. Classroom & Behind-the-Wheel (In-Car) Instruction cannot exceed four (4) Hours of Classroom Instruction and two (2) Hours of In-Car instruction for a total of six (6) hours of total instrcution per day. Failure to comply with these regulations are the sole responsibility of the User/Student/Account Holder/Designated Instructor and will result in non-compensatory damages and termination of enrollment and access in this course.
I understand that the “Student” Information on the Certificates of Completion are auto-filled based on the registration information, student information and student profile information provided by the user, account holder and/or designated instructor; additionally, I understand that the “Date Issued” is auto-generated based on the student’s/user’s successful completion of specific course requirements and is in compliance and accordance with current state guidelines, rules, laws and regulations.
ParentTaught101.com and/or its affiliates will not “reset course progress” or “reissue / re-date” a Certificate of Completion, once it has been processed.
I understand that ParentTaught101.com and /or its affiliates are not liable or financially responsible to issue a “refund” for circumstances where a Student, User, Account Holder and/or their “Designated Parent-Instructor” are deemed ineligible or fail to meet the current DPS, TDLR and Texas driver education instructor or student requirements; or are deemed ineligible because of failure to complete the Parent-Taught Driver Education Instructor Designation Services Request and purchase the Parent Taught Driver Education (PTDE) Program Guide from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) prior to enrolling in our course.
I understand that ParentTaughtDrivingCourse and / or its affiliates are not liable or financially responsible to issue a “refund” for circumstances where a Student, User, Account Holder and/or their “Designated Parent-Instructor” is non-compliant or deemed ineligible by the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) or current governing state agency to participate in a Texas Parent Taught Driving Course.
I understand that ParentTaught101.com and/or its affiliates are NOT financially responsible or liable and will NOT issue a refund for our services, if a student/user and/or designated parent-instructor is deemed ineligible to teach or participate in our course, by the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) or the current State of Texas Licensing Agency. In the event that a user, student and/or designated parent-instructor is deemed ineligible by DPS to TDLR, ParentTaught101.com and/or its affiliates will NOT “reset” the account or the student’s / user’s course progress, will NOT reissue or re-date and already processed and issued Certificate of Completion and will NOT be financially responsible to issue a refund or credit for the “course” fee. The student / user will be required to register with ParentTaught101.com, pay the current course fee and begin the course as a new student.
Deemed Ineligible or Unqualified: I understand that if the “User/Student/Account Holder/Purchaser and/or “Designated Instructor” is deemed “ineligible” or “unqalified” to teach or participate in a Parent Taught Driver Education course, by the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) or the current governing State of Texas Driver Education agency; no refunds will be issued, the “account” is non-transferable; the “account” will not be reset and any course progress, personal information, certificates, forms and data associated with the “account” will be deleted and erased from our network, servers, database and platform. If the “designated-parent/instrcutor” does not meet current TDLR or DPS instrctor requirements and the student chooses a different instrcitor, the student / user will be required to purchase a new order, enroll as a “new” student , register and pay the current ParentTaught101.com course fee, and must begin the “course” as a new registrant/user/student.
Refund Policy: All Refund requests associated with the use of this website, service and course are limited, non-transferable, and subject to approval by ParentTaught101.com. Refund request must be submitted, for consideratioon, in writting no later than 3 days from the original purchase date of our service. Refunds will automatically be denied in the following cases: 1). The refund request is not submitted in writing within 3 calendar days from the original date of purchase. 2). A Student Profile has been completed by the account holder or user, which results in a TDLR – DEE Certificate Control Number assigned to the acount holder (student) or Certificate of Completion has been generated and /or processed for the student. 3). A student/user has completed any portion the “course” that results in issuance of a Certificate of Completion; or 4). In cases of Non-Compliance or Failure to meet TDLR and/or DPS Student and/or Instructor requirements, which prohibit the student / user from participating in a parent taught driving course 5). Equipment, System or Network Failure; Non-Completion, Misuse of the website, course, service; failure of the course, tests, expiration of the one (1) year access period, inadvertent or accidental registration, non-completion of the course materials, and/or failure to successfully complete any of the course materials; or any circumstance that prohibits the user, student and/or account holder to access and/or complete course requirements at any point within the time allotted as described in our Terms and Conditions of Service and Refund Policy. https://ParentTaught101.com/refund-policy/ Please note that any refund deemed “eligible,” will include a $5 service fee.
I understand that ParentTaught101.com is NOT responsible for storing, saving and/or providing access to an account, student information, account information, certificates, forms, data, emails or any information associated with our service, course, platform or associated with the student, user and/or account holder, at any point; during the use of our service or after use of our service; or if an account expires, is closed, deactivated or if the “student/user/account holder” fails to successfully complete the course requirements or fails to meet any of the rules or guidelines specified by the State of Texas regarding a driver education course.
Non-Transferable: Once a refund request is deemed eligible, processed and issued by ParentTaught101.com (Platform71, LLC); the “Refunded” account is immediately deactivated and closed. Any completed course work in the “student / user’s” account is non-transferable and immediately deleted from the ParentTaught101.com platform, server, website, student’s account and data base. ParentTaught101.com is NOT responsible for storing, saving and/or providing access to a student account and/or its data, once a refund is processed and account is closed, deactivated and closed or if the “student/user” fails to successfully complete the course requirements or fails to meet any of the rules or guidelines specified by the State of Texas regarding a driver education course.

I understand that failure to purchase a Parent Taught Driver Education (PTDE) Program Guide, from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR), before beginning our Parent Taught Driving course, will result in account cancellation, and loss of course access and progress. ParentTaught101.com and/or its affiliates will not “reset course progress” or “reissue / re-date” a Certificate of Completion, once it is already processed; due to circumstances where a student and/or instructor fail to meet any state driver education guidelines, student requirements, or due to the user (student or parent) failed to register and purchase a Parent Taught Driver Education (PTDE) Program Guide from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR), prior to beginning in our course.
Please note that these “terms” contain a class action waiver of a right to a jury trial, and a mandatory and arbitration clause. An arbitration clause commits you to submitting to binding arbitration if a dispute arises. This prevents you from ever being able to take the company or business to court.
Access to our website, course contenet, user’s account, and overall “service” is limited to one (1) year of website, account and online course access, from the date of purchase, to our State-approved Parent Taught Driver Education Course (C3519) website. This service also includes the following; two (2) digital Certificates of Completion: 1 (one) for the Learner License application and 1 (one) for the Driver License application, the “Official” Class C Road Rules & Signs Permit Test. Additional services, such a “Transferring” to another course or driver’s ed program, additional time or course access extensions, copy of an already issued certificate of completion or tempoarary access to an expired account are at our discretion and will include an separate and additional “Service Fee” which is clearly noted on our website Service Request Form.

ParentTaught101.com and/or its affiliates fulfill our obligation by allowing you access to our state-approved parent taught driving course, at the point of purchase, and incur costs whether or not a student / parent / instructor uses or engages our website, resources and/or course content. ParentTaught101.com, Platform71, LLC and/or its affiliates are NOT financially or otherwise responsible to issue a refund or partial refund due to non-compliance, failure to meet TDLR & DPS standards and requirements, inadvertent or accidental registration, non-completion of our course or failure to successfully complete or pass course requirements; In the event that that we deem a refund is appropriate, there will be a minimum $5 service fee, regardless of the reason for the refund.
